Then we had lunch and went to the British Museum to see the eclectic collection there. We were really hoping to see the Bkiking Exhibit but tickets were sold out until 8pm and we had evening plans. We saw lots of pretty amazing stuff anyway. I'm definitely planning to use the art, flowers, and architecture as inspiration for my first designs...so you'll be seeing more of these (and things like them) in the near future!
We capped off the day with dinner at a high school friend's house. What a nice thing to know someone living in the city you're visiting...and how awesome to catch up again after all this time!
Thanks for taking us along on your LOVELY holiday! It's inspiring. I'm hoping to get out that way with my son next year. By the way, how cute are you in that great black and white dress? Love it.
